Investment and Research Disclaimer
Whisone helps investors organise and understand market information. This disclaimer explains what our research can—and cannot—do for you.
Information and education only
All content and tools available through Whisone are provided for general information, research support, and financial education. Nothing on the Service is personalised financial, investment, legal, tax, or accounting advice.
Content must not be understood as an offer, solicitation, endorsement, or recommendation to buy, sell, subscribe for, or hold any security or financial product.
No adviser, broker, or fiduciary relationship
Whisone is not acting as your investment adviser, broker, dealer, portfolio manager, exchange, custodian, or fiduciary. Using the Service, creating a portfolio, asking the AI Analyst a question, or contacting support does not create an advisory or fiduciary relationship.
Where you need advice tailored to your finances, objectives, tax position, or legal circumstances, consult an appropriately licensed and qualified professional.
Scores, verdicts, and research opinions
Labels such as Strong Buy, Buy, Weak Buy, Wait, and Avoid are research summaries generated from available factors such as fundamentals, valuation, timing, risk, insider activity, and data quality. They describe a modelled view of the current setup; they are not trade instructions, price targets, or guarantees.
Scores and verdicts may change when prices, financial statements, company disclosures, model assumptions, data coverage, or market conditions change. A favourable score does not mean a security is suitable for you or that it will rise.
AI-generated analysis
AI-assisted content may help explain concepts, summarise evidence, compare companies, or identify questions for further research. AI systems can misunderstand prompts and produce incomplete, outdated, inconsistent, or incorrect statements.
Always inspect the cited evidence, dates, uncertainty, and missing information. Confirm material facts against primary sources such as audited financial statements, official exchange notices, and company filings before relying on them.
Market data and information limitations
Prices may be delayed and should not be used as executable quotes. Financial data, estimates, filings, news, corporate actions, exchange rates, and derived metrics may be delayed, incomplete, adjusted, unavailable, or incorrect because of source limitations, reporting differences, or processing errors.
Timestamps and reporting periods matter. A manual refresh cannot make an exchange, company, or upstream provider publish information sooner. Whisone does not warrant that data is accurate, complete, current, or suitable for a particular purpose.
Investment risk
All investing involves risk. Security prices can be volatile, market liquidity can change, dividends can be reduced or cancelled, currencies can move, and issuers can lose value or fail. You may lose some or all of the money you invest.
Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future results. Historical returns, backtests, simulations, forecasts, scenarios, and modelled outcomes are hypothetical or backward-looking and do not guarantee what will happen.
Portfolio views and calculators
Portfolio performance, allocation, income, goal projections, comparison results, and calculator outputs depend on the information you enter and the data available to the Service. Missing transactions, incorrect dates or costs, fees, taxes, currency conversion, corporate actions, and delayed prices can materially affect results.
Illustrations are estimates, not promises. They may omit taxes, inflation, transaction costs, liquidity, personal circumstances, and other real-world factors.
Alerts and notifications
Watchlists and alerts are monitoring aids only. Checks occur on a schedule, and delivery can be delayed or fail because of market-data availability, connectivity, provider interruptions, account settings, or technical issues. An alert is not a real-time trading signal and must not be your only way of monitoring an investment.
Third-party content and links
Whisone may display or link to company filings, exchanges, market-data sources, news, and other external services. A link or reference does not mean Whisone endorses the source, agrees with every statement, or controls its availability. Third parties are responsible for their own content, terms, and services.
Use independent judgement
Consider multiple sources, the age and quality of the evidence, your financial situation, objectives, time horizon, need for liquidity, and ability to absorb loss. Do not invest money you cannot afford to lose.
You are solely responsible for evaluating an investment and for every decision or transaction you make. Read the relevant prospectus, offer document, financial statements, regulatory disclosures, and broker terms before acting.
Liability, related terms, and questions
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Whisone is not responsible for losses arising from reliance on research, AI output, delayed or incorrect data, missed alerts, unavailable features, or investment decisions. Nothing here excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
This disclaimer should be read with our Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, Editorial Policy, and Research Methodology.
Questions or suspected data errors can be submitted through Whisone Support or emailed to support@whisone.app.
